Scope
The 13th Symposium on Advances in Control Education, ACE 2022, is an international forum on recent developments and advances in control education. Academic researchers and lecturers in control, R&D specialists in instrumentation, control and industrial automation, and practicing control engineers from a variety of industrial sectors will find it especially rewarding. As in earlier symposia, the program will include plenary lectures, technical sessions, interactive and panel sessions, and educational tool demonstrations.

Paper format
Authors must prepare an electronic version of the full paper according to the required paper style and submit it in the required file format. The normal requirement of 6 pages maximum applies. For more details see the Information for IFAC authors and the Submission Guidelines.
Please note that papers that do not meet the required specifications will not be included in the final conference proceedings.
Invited sessions
Proposals of invited sessions are solicited. Each invited session should consists of about six papers related to the same topic and of interest for the conference and must be submitted through papercept . The proposal should consist of a short abstract and of the list of the authors and titles of papers and it will pass through a reviewing process. If the invited session is accepted, the proposer will receive an alphanumeric code which should be shared with those submitting manuscripts for the session. Submission of manuscripts for the invited session should be done by clicking on ‘Invited paper’ and will require this code, but otherwise will be peer reviewed as other manuscripts. All accepted papers will then be grouped together in the final program.
IFAC Copyright Conditions
“All publication material submitted for presentation at an IFAC-sponsored meeting (Congress, Symposium, Conference, Workshop) must be original and hence cannot be already published, nor can it be under review elsewhere. The authors take responsibility for the material that has been submitted. IFAC-sponsored conferences will abide by the highest standard of ethical behavior in the review process as explained on the Elsevier webpage, and the authors will abide by the IFAC publication ethics guidelines.
Accepted papers that have been presented at an IFAC meeting will be published in the proceedings of the event using the open-access IFAC-PapersOnLine series hosted on ScienceDirect. To this end, the author(s) must grant exclusive publishing rights to IFAC under a Creative Commons license when they submit the final version of the paper. The copyright belongs to the authors, who have the right to share the paper in the same terms allowed by the end user license, and retain all patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights (including research data).”
